US House sanctions Irans energy sector and elite guard

US House of Representatives overwhelming voted on Tuesday to label the Revolutionary Guard in Iran as a terrorist organization and mounted pressure on Tehrans energy sector.
The bill passed by a 397 to 16 vote came few hours before Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejads speech in the UN General Assembly in New York and would be considered as an additional tool for President Bush administration in addressing the nuclear ambitions of Iran.
